Can I install linux packages with apt-get?

The short answer is no. Security is our top priority, and we do not allow apps to execute any privileged command (sudo). We pre-install in each runtime what we consider the necessary linux packages. If you really need a package that is not installed, please get in touch with us and we'll evaluate your use case.
